Site Plan Review Service: |
In many instances, a building permit cannot be issued for any proposed use or building until a detailed review of the site plan for the project has been completed by the City.
Site plan reviews for some uses can be completed by the City's Planning Consultant, while in other instances the City's Planning Commission must review and act on a site plan. Site plans for special land uses also require the City Council's review. In each case, the Zoning Ordinance contains specific criteria that are reviewed to determine if site plan approval may be granted.
Applications for preliminary and final site plan reviews are available at City Hall. Applicants are encouraged to consult the City's Zoning Ordinance when preparing either a preliminary or final site plan. The City's Planning Consultant is also available to assist applicants.
