CITY OF DEWITT
PROHIBITED TREE SPECIES
(Adopted by the DeWitt City Council on March 15, 2004
upon recommendation of the DeWitt Tree Commission)
The following trees are prohibited from planting on streetside right-of-ways, public parks and other public areas in the City of DeWitt. These species have been determined to have unsavory characteristics including being weak wooded, disease or insect prone or otherwise excessively untidy.

WILLOWS, ALL SPECIES |

While existing specimens of these species may not be cut down immediately, the City reserves the right to do so when they affect public safety and welfare. The planting of additional tree species may be rejected on any basis including public safety and welfare.
