 Chief Robin Ballard has served as the Chief of the DeWitt Area
Emergency Services Authority (DAESA) since December 17, 2001.
Robin previously served as the City of DeWitt Fire Chief (7 years)
prior to the formation of DAESA and served the City Fire Department
for a total of 20 years.
The primary responsibility of DAESA:
The DAESA is responsible for delivering fire protection and
emergency medical services to the City of DeWitt as well as
Olive and Riley Townships.
