GARAGE SALE SIGNS
Many residents keep their homes neat
and orderly by holding a summer garage or
yard sale and advertise their sale by posting advertising signs at main intersections
in the City or in the right-of-way of public streets. Please
keep in mind Section 78-404 (f) prohibits signs located in
the right-of-way of public streets or attached to a utility
pole, fence or affixed to a tree. Per 78-403 (e), garage
sale signs must be placed on private property, set back a
minimum of 15 feet from any property line or street and
can not exceed 6 sq feet in area. The signs may be
erected no more than 10 business days before the event
and are to be removed within 1 business day after the
announced sale. ►
